Is there a problem with the LCD screen on Motorola Razr model V3 ? Two of my friends both have burned-out screens after less than 2 years of use. Is that a normal time for the LCD to last? Does it pay them to have the screens repaired? I imagine that it's an expensive repair job. Without the screen, they can still receive all calls and make calls but text messaging, etc are impossible.

I've heard of this happening with Razrs but mostly when they're dropped.

Yes, I think he mentioned that he dropped it several times and he even dropped it accidentally into water. I never drop my phone so how long could the screen last? I use it for less than 5 calls/day.

As with all phones, as long as you take good care of them they will give you many years of service.
