Does anyone know the answer to this Question?

I have the Motorola W385 and when I download ring tones it sends them to a sound folder and I can't save them to my ringtones. The only place I can send to is Pics place. I have a data cable and I don't know how to transfer the ring tones to the phone with the cable. does anyone know about this.

    Thank you
    Dan

The phone is very solid and it has a nice design to it. I like all the features it has. If your looking for a good camera phone, don't get this one. The only down fall about this phone is the camera. Everything else on this phone is great. I'll figure some way to get the ring tones into this phone. I'm not giving Verizon $1.99 a ring tone.

Yes for your information it's possible to add ringtone to your phone... but you have to do 2-3 thing...

    Install the motorola software
    Install BitPim (new version 1.0.4)
Do your file transfert has you already do (dont worry about the folder)
Then with bitpim Set manualy your phone
    Other CDCA (something like that)
Click on browse then select your motorola usb modem(your phone)
    Click View, Viewfilesystem
CLick on file system in the tree
Click on the + on file list (can take 1-2 minutes to got the listing the first time)
    Then delete 2 files MyToneDB.db and TmpTneDB.db
Reboot your phone and... VOILA !

If it's not clear (cause I dont use english curently) I can do some screenshot just ask me !
