A couple weeks ago, my phone's battery ran out at work and when I went home to charge it, I plugged it in to charge and the screen read "Cannot Charge". So I turned the phone off and turned it back on and it said it was charging. In the morning I went to get my phone and it wouldn't turn on. I had had this problem before and I had to buy a whole new battery to get it to work. I tried charging the phone with both batteries I have and it always said "Charging", but the battery meter wouldn't go up. At this point I'd really just like to get the phone on so I can reset it to factory settings so I can sell it. Does anyone know how I can do this without having it being able to charge?

These are the items effecting the charging system:
    Phone
    Battery
    charger
    Electrical power source location
Change them individually to determine the problem.

I'm beginning to think it's the phone because I've tried charging with my wall charger, my USB charger, and my parents wall charger. I've tried these methods with both batteries that I have.
