I have a Motorola L9, Its just out of waranty(3months approx) and the screen started to flicker a few days ago. Now the display does not light up very often if at all. I was flickering very badly yesterday then it just went out. Only sometimes does the display become visible. I'm thinking that its either a loose wire on the inside or the bulb for the LCD has a problem. How easy is this fixed? Everything else on the phone still works and if you look at the display the right way you can barely make out the screen so i know its not the display its self. Any thoughts or info please.

Sounds like a broken/defective flex cable, only way to know is to open up the phone.

Thanks. Is the flex cable the cable that connects the lcd to the pcb board? What does it usually look like? A flat stripped very thin cable? I have no warranty to worry about and the tools to open it up.
