I have a Moto Q with Verizon. I have downloaded and upgraded unit to newest software and firmware. I use it in my Mercedes S600 which has voice activation option installed. I can use it to manually put a number in, and it works fine. It will also answer and disconnect fine. When I try to use it with a call command from my phone book, it dials some weird number and connects to Verizon wireless stating "the number you have dialed..blah, blah, blah" I have tried every name in the phone book, it shows the name on the screen, but dials the weird number instead of the programmed number. Any help out there.

Re: Motorla Q V60 Mercedes
After lots of manual reading, talking to all sorts of "professionals including Mercedes" without a solution, I finally figured this out myself. It may work for all Mercedes with built in voice activation systems. First, the phone book from your cell can be downladed into the cars memory. BUT, you can only access it manually and dial. To use the voice recognition system in the car you have to set up a seperate "location" phone book. First you activate the voice recognition system (hereby shown as vrs) and say "enter number" or "enter name". Immediately after entering the name or number say "enter name or number" dependant on which you entered the first time. If you entered number, immediately say enter name and vice-versa. This will "recognize" your voice and respond automatically when you activate the VRS and say "dial name".
