Any recommended corded headset?
--Heard that music on the phone does not sound very good with stereo headphones. Have not tried it as do not have stereo headset right now.

I have only had this phone for a couple of months, & have not tried music w/ it yet, so I can't comment on the sound quality at this point. I may try that at some time in the future.
My purpose with the headset was; I drive for long periods of time, especially overnight, & I like to talk for several hours at a time to keep me company. The stereo headset option is real nice, so if you do a lot of talking, I would recommend that.
I have a few different headsets.
*Altec Lansing inEar Earclips - UHS307. They are very nice, feature a mute switch & a volume slide. The over-ear clip design is not too bad, takes a bit of adjusting to get it comfortable. Folks comment on how clear my voice is with this one. Again, you need to plug this & all the headsets into that mini usb plug to get the clarity.
*Altec Lansing inEar Earphones - UHS306. Pretty much the same comments as above, but these are in-earbuds as opposed to over the ear clips. I believe I like these a bit better, especially for long drives, as they are lightweight. It feels like I am not even wearing them. Again, they are crystal clear on my phone, folks say I am easy to hear.
*Plantronics MX203S - An odd design, clips to your earlobe. I thought they would be uncomfortable, but they're not, at least for me anyway. No mute switch or volume control on this one.
Hope that helps a bit. I seem to prefer the Altec Lansing brand, not to say that others aren't just as good. This is just one brand that I have used in the past & they worked well, so I stuck with them.
If you go with a corded headset, please leave feedback in this thread, let us know how they work out for you. By the way, do you listen to music on your phone? Since I have portable mp3 players already loaded up w/ music/audiobooks, I don't really use mine for that purpose.
