I have a Motorola V170 Tracfone and a V400 that I had with Cingular earlier.
I dropped the Cingular service when I got the Tracfone.
Question- Both are Motorola, can I swap the card from the V170 into the V400 and use it ? It has the camera function that I would like to use.
Thanks

Yes you can use either phone with your sim card.

Re: Swapping Simms ?
Thanks Tony. Is their anything else I have to do to it? One is a tracfone -buying minutes, and the old one was a contract type. The simms look the same size-not the same writing on them. Also the old V400 ,the simm comes out easy but not sure how to remove the one in the V170.
Again Thanks for the reply.

Re: Swapping Simms ?
You don't really need to do anything else, you may have a problem using your web browser on the v170 but we can fix that.

Re: Swapping Simms ?
be careful, i put a sim from a different carrier in one of my older phones just to get numbers in my nextel motorola phone and it locked itself asking for some sort of password, even when i put the correct sim back and still asked me for a password and nextel cc didn't have a solution but i figured it out, removing the battery while it's on asking for the code makes it go away not sure if it'll work for others, but it should.
