    I was reading this ad:

Free Motorola Cell Phone (supplies limited). Plans start
from $19.95/month with 250 minutes each month. No contracts
and no credit checks. Call XXXXXXXXXX and use referral number
292107 to take advantage of this offer today.

However, I was wondering if anyone has used their service. More importantly, and the reason for this post, does anyone know what Motorola cell phone you get for that 19.95 a month? If I don't want it, can I put this offer towards a different phone?

    Thanks in advance everyone.

Re: Question about a Motorola Cell Phone

That's a hard call, since you didn't provide the name of the provider. But then again, the ad didn't seem to either. I don't feel like calling it, but it sounds to me like one would get a computer and have to go through some prompts to enter said offer code, and then whatever phone you called from would be exempt from any DO NOT CALL registration done on said phone number.

If you know the actual provider name, then maybe someone could better answer your question.

Re: Question about a Motorola Cell Phone

I called the number and a live person answered the phone. Also, a real nice guy. He asked me for my code at the start of the call. Honestly, I was pleasantly shocked. Long story short, the company is called GoVios. I will be paying $19.95/month for 250 minutes. Thankfully, it is a pay as go service. I cannot afford to be tied to a contract. Matter of fact, that beats my (now old) Tracfone service by more than double the minutes for the same price. I can only get 60 minutes for $20 with Tracfone. I purchased a double minutes card in the past and that still brings me to 120 minutes for my $20 bucks. Plus, I had to pay for the cell phone with Tracfone. I am glad I called. Thanks all the same for your response. Greatly appreciated.

I know I sliced the quote, but contrary to the other latest post, it doesn't sound sketchy to me as he actually talked to someone, as opposed to a computer. Nice that you found a good plan that will work well for you.

The reason I sliced the quote was because I was hoping it said Go ViVo! as that is the f/w that I have my VZW V3m flashed to and working on the VZW network. But alas, GoVios is a GSM carrier and that's a whole different animal.
