Unlock a Motorola i560

Hi I have a Motorola i560 that I bought on ebay however the phone is locked by nextel. I have purchased all sorts of software (raptor) and a usb cable to try and unlock it with no success. Is there anyone who can help me unlock this. I have an account with Telus Mike (same phone) and I want to use my telus sim card in my new motorola i560

We do not provide unlocking instructions here at CPF, however you can take your i560 to an independent cell phone shop to get it unlock, it's easier and saves you alot of headaches.

I understand that nextel cannot transfer the contacts etc. from one phone to another, but I am not trying to do that. the phone was lost and replaced, then the original phone was found but it is locked. we cannot see anything on it even to verify which contacts we haven't replaced on the new phone. can anyone advise how to unlock a phone when you are NOT trying to transfer it to another carrier, or reactivate it, etc.? thank you.
