Motrola v 950 renegade question please help

I just recived a motorola renegade v950 i brought it to my local nextel / sprint store so they could upload or download ( what ever they do behind the counter ) all my contacts and info from my old phone ( ic 902 ) to my new renegade(v950) Ok so here is my question all the contacts are backwards in my new phone for example in my old phone the contact would be joe smith its now smith joe why is this and if i go to change it it is now out of alphabetical order it is the first contact .. Please help me i am very lo tech and it bothers the hell out of me .... thanks in advance

Hi, I'm Erin, a Sprint-Nextel techsupport rep. There are 3 different tools that stores can use to transfer contacts. If one doesn't work right, you can have them try a different one, and re-transfer it. All 3 tools work on Motorola phones. Thanks for your business, and have a great holiday!
