Is it possible to put custome ringtones into the Z6c without buying them from my provider? [Verizon]
I have a .amr sound file in the My Sounds folder but can't find how to use it as a ringtone or how to move it to the appropriate ringtone folder.

Re: Moto Z6c custom ringtones?
Do you have a USB data cable for your phone? If so, you should be able to load your own ringtones thru the cable from your computer using two software programs: Motorola Software Update (MSU) and P2kCommander (I use ver. 5.0.7 with my Moto Z6tv), both free downloads. You can create the ringtones as MP3 files using Audacity, another free program used to process sound files.

Re: Moto Z6c custom ringtones?
Well, I have misplaced my usb cord I know I had one because I used it to update the phone software a couple of times...
I've tried connecting via BlueTooth and while I can make the connection, it disconnnects before I can transfer any files. Suppose I need to buy a new cable. Would be nice to have the Motorola Phone Tools but the idea of paying for it when the Nokia version is free isn't attractive.

It might be worth it to purchase another cable. Check out the Z6c data cables at daydeal.com (there are other good sites as well). As far as MPT (not free), I would try downloading Motorola Software Update (MSU), which is free.
