Hi. Please excuse my lack of knowledge, I am newbie.
I have bought a 2nd hand L7 and the phone had lots of the previous users stuff on. I did a amster clear and the phone worked ok. Put the phone down, came back a few mins later and the keypad was locked. Pressed "menu" (the upper one in the middle of the softkeys) and "*". Nothing happens. The screen displays a message saying press menu and * etc. If I remove the battery and refit, the phone works again until it locks itself. I have switched off automatic lock etc. When the phone is unlocked, I cannot lock it using the "menu" and "*" buttons. Can anyone suggest anything. Tried looking at modmymoto but ended up confused.
Thanks in advance.

Re: L7 Keypad locked
I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be the software. I had to reinstall the firmware.

Re: L7 Keypad locked
Hi. Thanks for the help. I did see the thread on that link. I tried what was suggested and still no joy. I am inclined to think that it is a software issue.
I will try to get the firmware reinstalled and post my results.
Thanks again.
