Have had the i580 for a little over a year happy with the phone, soon after getting I stopped contracting, but being tied into a 3 year it has sat on a shelf next to the window for the last 12 months, since it gets NO service in the building and I have a company phone.
For the last few weeks the phone has been randomly turning off. I will take it off the charger and two minutes later it will be off. With in the space on an hour I might have to turn it on 15-20 times, other times it will stay on all day.
I took it in to a dealer who told me my warranty expired a few weeks before (of course) Lately it seems to reset, all of a sudden it will beep, and when I look at it it is starting up????
Phone starts ringing....... shuts off......what gives? Besides a built in internal warranty clock that makes the phone break?
Also Is there a java program for an alarm clock???
Thanks for any help.

Re: i580 problems...
No one have any idea?
Could this be a battery problem? Sometimes the phone will NOT turn hack on, I remove the battery and replace it then it will start up.
