    Verizon Wireless and Alltel remain one different company.

    No, it will not be available through Verizon. Merged customers (who now call Verizon their wireless provider) will not be able to purchase ANY of the Alltel devices, they aren't Alltel customers anymore!

    can you still get alltel phones as replacements for existing lines? since i was an alltel customer prior to the merger. or can i get verizon phones now?

    i'm talking about buying from a third party seller.. such as ebay.

    i'm looking @ buying a new phone since i'm still on contract with alltel (verizon) and buying it outright.
