Razr doesn't detect memory card

I got a used Razr from a auction, had it flashed back to factory settings at a Verizon store but I have to things still wrong.

1. It will not detect 1 or 2 gig memory card.
2. I still can not get into my security settings. I have to have the "old" code. (Which I dont know)

I called Verizon on both these problems, but they werent much help. So I tried my MicroSD card in another phone and it detected it. And I thought since I got the phone flashed/wiped-out... Security settings would go back to default (0000, 1234, your last for digits). but it doesnt.

Any ideas as to what can be wrong? I love this *Pink* Razr :-)

P.S. I wasnt sure how you would even put data (music, ringtones etc) on card???
