I just bought a motorola Rival. I also downloaded some mp3 ringtones from amazon.com to my PC. I tryed to sync them to my phone but they go to my phone as music and I can't set them as a ringtone. they show in the music list. What do I do to get them on the phone as ringtones?

Re: mp3 ringtones from pc to motorola rival
You will have to find out which directory on your phone is used to store your ringtones (e.g., on my Moto Z6tv, ringtones are stored in /a/brew/mod/my_ringers). I access my phone's file directory using two free programs: Motorola Software Update (MSU) and P2kCommander (P2K). Once in P2K, I can copy MP3 files as ringtones from my PC into the ringtone directory. (Note: your phone may be able to play your MP3s as songs if they are on a microSD card in the phone, but won't be able to find them there as ringtones.)
