TELUS is all set to release two new phones. Mobile Syrup reports that Telus would launch Motorola Backflip on April 26 and BlackBerry Pearl 9100 on May 6 this year.

Backflip comes with Motorola’s Motoblur. In terms of the specs, this phone runs Android OS 1.5. It sports a 3.1-inch HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480. The handset boasts of a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and video facilities. This device also includes a music player and a 3.5 mm headset jack. Apart from these features, the phone also comes with Wi-Fi and full HTML Browser. The cost at which the phone would be sold is currently under wraps.

Moreover, apart from Motorola Backflip, BlackBerry Pearl 9100 is also being released. This phone is available in two color options namely black and pink. Reportedly, the no-contract price of BlackBerry Pearl 9100 is $449.99.
