Re: Droid X issues
Are you running Android 2.2 or 2.3?

Re: Droid X issues
My phone is operating on 2.21 and I have no idea about my sons or daughers phone. Her phone totally crashed last night and Verizon is having to send her out a replacement, it won't boot up so she has lot all contacts because it didn't back up to the micro card.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Peggy

What do you mean by this, "the screen has teh display joggling problems"? Can you explain it further?
Thanks,
Peggy

Re: Droid X issues
I'm actually having some issues with 2.3, which is why I asked. I had no problems with 2.2. I would recommend you remove any installed programs one by one to see if that solves issues. Or to make things easier, back everything up with a backup program (your contacts should already be in google) and do a factory reset.

Peggy,
Your daughters contacts should be backed up to her gmail account so when you sign into the new phone it will automaticly reload.

Re: Droid X issues
We tried a factory reset but the phone won't even power on, that's why Verizon is sending a replacement phone. Thanks for the advice though.

Re: Droid X issues
Don't upgrade to 2.3 (Gingerbread)! You'll lose 3G capability when you need it!
