News: Sprint's Motorola Titanium shipping July 24

If you are looking for a rugged handset that will withstand the heat, shock and dust, the Motorola Titanium may be for you. The Motorola Titanium is a handset that comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1 inch display screen as well as a 5MP camera with video capture and Android 2.1.

This is a military grade handset that will protect against shock, dust, temperature, low pressure and vibrations and solar radiation. The Titanium also has a button that you can push for Nextel Direct Connect support.

Sprint will be the carrier for the Motorola Titanium and the expected launch date is set for July 24 with a price of $149.99 when you sign a new two year contract with Sprint. The Titanium will come with a 2GB microSD card, expandable to 32GB, when you buy from Sprint.
