what os on motorola ex124g?

anybody know what os the ex124g uses?
also can you move items to and from the taskbar/tray?

one site had specs and says its proprietary
but that was pre-release data.
but they also list other motorola touch phones
as having the android(2?) os among others.
anyway any idea how to get to the 'desktop' and 'task bar'?
MPT doesn't work but the usb is fine for
file management.
anyway i want to make some widgets/apps
which is easy, but want them on the 'desktop'
not in the '@java' folder ,,or a shortcut on the desktop would work too.
