Motorola EX431G Black: No Ringer from Ford Sync When Phone Rings

Paired my EX431G with Microsoft Sync in my F150 platinum. I assigned Ringer 2 to the Motorola since Ringer 1 is assigned to my wifes Blackberry. Everything, except the ringer, works perfectly. Anytime I receive a call, the motorola rings but Sync stays quiet. I can answer the call with Sync and use voice commands and hands free, but no ring tone from the truck. Since Sync works properly with the Blackberry and Ringer 1, I swapped ring tones. Again, the Motorola won't trigger Sync and the BlackBerry worked perfectly now as Ringer 2.

a friend of mine said it is the fault of the EX431G because it doesn't support customized ringers for contacts. Does anyone know for sure?

Is the ringtone supposed to be coming from the phone or the truck (or from the phone through the truck)? Does the phone itself ring?

The truck is suppose to ring using one of three built-in ringtones. The ringtone is assigned during the pairing process.

The Motorola rings and it should alert Sync, via bluetooth, and then the truck rings. In this case, the truck does not ring. However, i can answer the call using the trucks voice command or the button on the steering wheel.

It's odd that it's making the connection, but not relaying that it's ringing to the truck. Have you updated the software for MS Sync recently?
