I'd like to download photos and text messages to my PC. I purchased a Motorola cable (MT SKN6311) from a vendor and it fits perfectly. However, when I plugged it into my PC, it did not automatically behave like a storage device. (I was hoping to see directories for photos, test messages, etc.) I therefore now believe that I need some special software, e.g., a modem driver. Is there any such freeware out there? If so, can anyone please direct me to a link?

Actually, to further complicate, a software wizard launched and, after a long while, seemed to have found the software and "installed" it. However, when I clicked Finished, I saw no icon on my desktop nor did it appear in my list of installed programs. (I'm running Win. XP-Pro.)
