Contact Management
Adding a Contact:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Access "Contacts"
- Tap the "Add contact" icon
- Type in the desired name for the contact, and enter its phone number in the appropriate field
- Complete any of the desired fields
- When ready, tap "Done" to save the contact to the phonebook
Importing / Exporting Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch the "Contacts" app
- Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
- Select to import or export contacts from the SIM, SD etc.
- Follow any additional on-screen steps that might follow
Add a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
- Tap "Widgets"
- Scroll to and find the "Direct Dial" widget
- Tap and hold the widget, and drag > drop it on the homescreen
- When the "Contacts" list or "People" application pops-up, tap the contact you want to assign to the Direct Dial widget
- Repeat the process if you wish to add multiple Direct Dial contacts
- You can also create a folder for Direct Dial shortcuts. To do so, drag a Direct Dial shortcut on top of another one and a folder containing both shortcuts will be automatically created
Delete Contacts:
- Tap the "Apps" icon from the home screen
- Launch "Contacts"
- Select the desired contact
- Tap "Edit contact" > "Menu"
- Tap "Delete" and press "OK" to confirm
Caller Group Management
Create a New Caller Group:
- Tap "All apps" while viewing a home screen
- Access the "Contacts" app
- Tap the "Add a contact" icon located in the lower-right corner of the screen
- Tap "Group name" under "Groups"
- Tap "Create a new Group"
- Type in the desired name for the group and tap "OK"
- Tap "Back" to save the changes to the new group
Add Contacts to an Existing Group:
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Select the contact you want to add to an existing group
- Tap the "Edit contact" icon
- Tap "Group name" under "Groups"
- Select one of the existing groups or tap "Create new group"
- Press "Back" to save the changes to the selected group
