Contact Management

Adding a Contact:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Access "Contacts"
  3. Tap the "Add contact" icon
  4. Type in the desired name for the contact, and enter its phone number in the appropriate field
  5. Complete any of the desired fields
  6. When ready, tap "Done" to save the contact to the phonebook

Importing / Exporting Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch the "Contacts" app
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  4. Select to import or export contacts from the SIM, SD etc.
  5. Follow any additional on-screen steps that might follow

Add a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Tap "Widgets"
  3. Scroll to and find the "Direct Dial" widget
  4. Tap and hold the widget, and drag > drop it on the homescreen
  5. When the "Contacts" list or "People" application pops-up, tap the contact you want to assign to the Direct Dial widget
  6. Repeat the process if you wish to add multiple Direct Dial contacts
  7. You can also create a folder for Direct Dial shortcuts. To do so, drag a Direct Dial shortcut on top of another one and a folder containing both shortcuts will be automatically created

Delete Contacts:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon from the home screen
  2. Launch "Contacts"
  3. Select the desired contact
  4. Tap "Edit contact" > "Menu"
  5. Tap "Delete" and press "OK" to confirm

Caller Group Management

Create a New Caller Group:

  1. Tap "All apps" while viewing a home screen
  2. Access the "Contacts" app
  3. Tap the "Add a contact" icon located in the lower-right corner of the screen
  4. Tap "Group name" under "Groups"
  5. Tap "Create a new Group"
  6. Type in the desired name for the group and tap "OK"
  7. Tap "Back" to save the changes to the new group

Add Contacts to an Existing Group:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Select the contact you want to add to an existing group
  3. Tap the "Edit contact" icon
  4. Tap "Group name" under "Groups"
  5. Select one of the existing groups or tap "Create new group"
  6. Press "Back" to save the changes to the selected group
