Motorolla T720

I have a motorolla t720 recently purchased through at&t. Mine is just the standara t720, but ive seen t720i offered through t mobile. Ive heared rumors that the only difference is the software, then ive heard rumors that the t720i has an added chip. Long story short, i want the camera but as far as i know i cant use it on my phone. Does any one know if its just software or hardware difference betweeen these two.

I'm not completely sure but I think it's a software difference. I do know that the T720i is the only 720 that works with the camera.

There have been numerous posts at other forums of methods to get the camera to work with the t720...methods from flashing the rom, to also buying an aftermarket version of the camera

...but regardless... its still a great phone

The camera isn't that great on these phones anyway. Takes too long to have something hold still long enough to take a picture.

yea its a software difference only. the 720i has the java app to use the camera while the other models don't

camera program takes up memory
but i heard 720i program is faster
