Your phone is not covered by the recall. You have the V3c (CDMA), not the V3 (GSM). As for your Bluetooth issue, well, that is another story.

All v3's are capable of video, they just have to have the video capability unlocked if they are not already unlocked at the time of the sale.

Can one tell based on the features whether the RAZR is the newer version, ie. is a V3 with video recording a newer & better build?
It looks like the V3i is the newest.

I was in a Cingular store last week & they said the recall was on units they had received in February. What was still unsold in early March was taken off the shelves & returned to Motorola. They were expecting a fresh (ie, good) supply sometimes this past week.
The important point about buying these expensive RAZR's is to make sure they have a valid warranty good in the USA, just in case!

    Thanks for the link Chris.

Without knowing all of the technical specs on phones being offered by dealers on eBay, I guess there's a lot of confusion being generated by terms & identifications such as : v3i U6, v3i v3x, MP3 iTunes, Deluxe Edition, Limited Edition.
In other words, a v3i is constructed different from v3iMP3iTunes? Or is the difference the software? And does v3x mean the same as the original v3?
Most vendors do not have an all inclusive list of specs but use the aforementioned v combinations.
And some mention a continuous video recording feature!

Are V3 RAZR's more recent Models or manufacturing upgrades identified by additional letters such as V3i, etc.? I also see some called "Limited Edition".
Where can I get a comparison of the features of the different RAZR's?
