    Hello,

I just read your comments regarding unacceptable service with Sprint. I've been a loyal customer since 2003. I've been going through hell since 2015. Unable to make or receive calls in my home. I was initially told that it was the closest Sprint tower was down, and in the process of being repaired, that was in the fall of 2015. Guess what, the tower has yet to be repaired.

I was considering a class action lawsuit, this is unacceptable. Sprint should be able to fix their towers immediately, or is it that this multi-billion dollar company is "pinching pennies" ???

I have been with Sprint for 6 years. Myself along with three of my employees. Never had many problems with them, other than the typical dropped calls and lots of dead areas. I couldn't use my cell phone from my house.

We were on a pretty good plan, a couple thousand minutes per month and usually went a little over about 50% of the time.

Changed one of the phones from Sprint to Verizon, partially to determine if we (I) could get better reception, plus I liked the hardware available for Windows Mobil better on the Verizon phones.

Contacted Sprint and covered the change in advance with them. All of our contractual obligations were well past being met. We purchased new phones every two years, but did not do so as part of a service contract agreement as I do not like how that limits us for such a small savings.

Anyway, after confirming that the remaining 3 phones on our plan would remain intact, with the same package, same rates, same calling plans, same features, etc. . . I went ahead and got the Verizon on a month to month (no contract) as I did not want to be bound to them without first getting a better feel for their services and billing. So far, no problems from either stand point.

Well, as soon as this happens, our Sprint bills skyrocket. First month after this happens, our bill goes from an average of about $250-$300 to over $1,200. Our international calling program was dropped, all calls in and out are billed and nothing fell under our plan. Basically, in speaking with them, they indicated that when the one phone was cancelled and re-set the whole plan back to basic service (whatever that is) and that bill would be unchanged but we could re-implement the previous plans from that point forward.

I wrote letters and tried to find a place to send them via certified mail - no luck. A couple months later still the same type of thing. We have tried to cancel all phones when the bill wasn't corrected but continued to be billed for them for three more months - none were under contract.

Still going on. Just got a letter from a collection agency as we have refused to pay the amount that exceeded what our "plan" called for. Wrote letters along with the payments and to other Sprint PCS locations. Never heard a word from them regarding our disputes.

Spent a good half hour or so looking for a reliable physical address so I could have proof of delivery and then if necessary pursue it via legal means, Better Business Bureau and Secretary of State if I need to.

Do I hate Sprint? Didn't for six years, was a pretty loyal customer. Probably spent $15,000 on service over the time frame. They have now lost me as a customer forever, including my Sprint long distance services from home.

I liked Sprint because I (my wife and I) could call Guam (which under Federal Regulations Feature Group D by law must be considered part of the United States calling program - same as calling from Wisconsin to Illinois for example in terms of pricing) and only Sprint PCS was willing to recognize these cell calls as such. The others (cell providers) look at Guam as an international phone call. My one good word for them!

What kinds of problems have you had with Sprint?

Like many thousands of individuals that I have read about via the internet, I too have had my major headaches with Sprint PCS. Mostly billing and account issues after being with the company for six years. Not comfortable with the lack of ability to ever send anything to sprint via registered mail as all addresses are PO Boxes. I did some research and as of Nov. 2006 can share some information with other individuals having problems with Sprint PCS: World Headquarters phycial address:
Sprint World Headquarters, 6200 Sprint Parkway, Overland Park, Kansas 66251; Chairman of the board: Gary D. Forsee. Send certified mail to his attention at the World Headquarters. He probably won't reply, but at least you will have physical proof of Sprint's receipt of your communications if sent via certified mail. Good Luck
