    I have the same question.

I have a Sanyo M1. Which is supposed to be a "multimedia" phone. surely there is a simple way for me to take one of my downloaded music tracks and use it as a ringtone.

Any clues no which folders I am supposed to go to?

    Ok, I'll answer myself .

The problem was the phonebook was showing my SIM chip phones, but they were not actually on the cell's phonebook (!). So I had to reenter them one by one. That's why it said "Empty". The phonebook was empty... pretty odd.

I'm trying to set an MP3 as a caller ringtone, so I'm doing the following:

Go to Menu, then File Manager, and then Music. There appears a list of my MP3s. I highlight one, go to Options, then Set As, and then Caller Ringtone. When I select that option an "Empty" message appears. What does that mean?!

How can I set an MP3 as a caller ringtone? Anybody?

    Thanks a lot
    Paul
