I opened up the morning paper, and this is what greeted me:

Quoted from The Post Standard, Syracuse, NY
"Cable company to offer cell plan
Time Warner will unveil phone with multimedia services at State Fair.

    By Rick Moriarty
    Staff writer

Time Warner Cable, the second-largest cable operator in the United States, is about to expand its already ubiquitous multimedia presence in Central New York by offering cell phone service later this month.
.......To add cell phone service, Time Warner did not built its own network. It teamed with Sprint to provide the service."

I would provide a link to the original story, but the forum doesn't allow people with low post count to post links, which i respect. To find the original story, go to Syracuse dot com and search Time Warner cell phone.

Now, i don't know about Sprint's service in the rest of the country, but in Central New York, having Sprint is like having a land-line. It only works when you are near a window, holding onto a goal-post, or are very very lucky to find yourself at the top of a hill. So, here, Time Warner's service is going to be a bust, because everyone here is either subscribed to Verizon, Cingular, or pre-pay their phone service, and we all know that Sprint is a joke.

So, for now, im going to pay my monthly Verizon bill with glee and watch Time Warner flounder with their phone service.
