    Hello,

I switched from Fido to rogers without a CANCELLATION FEE. You just have to be in the fido contract for more than a year and sign a 3 year contract with Rogers.

I received the bill from fido with a cancellation charge, but a quick call to roger, they waived the fee.

The early cancellation fee is now indeed 400$ if you changed anything on your account since feb 2007. But the good news is you will not pay any cancellation fee if you switch from fido to rogers or vice versa.

    hi there,
Unfortunately no, it is not possible to switch from fido to rogers or vice versa.
    From the Rogers site:

Can I switch to a Fido price plan?
No. Although Fido and Rogers Wireless are now owned by the same company, they are separate brands and each offers its own selection of unique handsets and price plans. Rogers Wireless customers do not have access to Fido’s pricing and vice versa.
