    I seriously think, AT&t some how messed up the provising for SMS on your account, believe me it does happen. Please call them first and verify that everything is good on your account.

    PS, if your Media-Net is not working you will not be able to send MMS, you don't need to have a data plan but atleast a pay per use and a working one.

    no media net isnt working, but i dont ever use it.

    i dont have a data plan, just unlimited family texting

    I would call customer service and ensure that nothing got inadvertently changed in the provisioning for you SMS & Data.

    Does your Media-Net work?

    well, this is an old phone and the texting always worked before...

    when i try to send a sms then it says it sent it, but the person never recieves the text.

    when i send a multimedia message, then it has an error message pop up

    Hi there, did you check with AT&T CS to see if text messaging is correctly provisioned for on your account?

    If it is then, could you provide some more details like is this a new phone? Have you had problems with text messaging before? What happens when you try to send a text message? etc.

    and i cant send or recieve text messages...
