I'll give it a shot, thanks Ellen

Would you recommend purchasing a warranty from squaretrade?

Ok, the phone I am looking at is factory unlocked.

I have one more question if you don't mind...Why are all the cell phones on ebay so cheap? Is there some kind of catch? The one I'm looking at sort of worries me. They give only 10 days to return the phone if it is defective, they say it's brand new never opened in OEM packaging yet they mention nothing about a warranty other than what you can get through squaretrade.com

To sum it up, is it a good idea to buy cellphones through ebay? There seems to be an endless amount of satisfied customers, just from reading some feedback.

oh and my apologies for re-posting this here, I should have asked a mod to move it.

    Hiya everyone

I'm currently looking to upgrade from my ancient Nokia 6060 to something a bit more modern. I'm not exactly in the know as far as what cellphones are compatible with what. I got the phone a long time ago...and well...if it ain't broke then don't fix it I think I'm overdue for an upgrade though

I'm looking for a phone that I could just swap the sim cards and go.

I was looking at a Motorola Black Razr V3xx on ebay (I'd post the link but it seems I don't have enough posts ) and it caught my attention. Would my old cingular sim card be compatible with this phone?

    Thanks in advance

(I posted this in the getting started section about a week back but unfortunately got no replies, I figured I'd move it here since it kind of pertains to this specific subsection)
