I try to restore my phone back to the condition before trying this method. The reason, I might need an SW update (I have v03) and need to take it to verizon store. Is it correct if I just replace the "brew" folder on my phone with "brew original" folder contents I have stored before the process?

My LG Dare was working with "VZ navigator" and "mobile Email" until 6 months ago, since then on VZ navigators it says 'Updating Data Files ... Request" then it says "please exit and restart VZ Navigator [2]

Has ANYONE got this to work on a LG DARE?? I would love to have this work!!! Butr most post say they cant do it??

Does anyone know if this will work with a prepaid phone?

I just got off the phone with Verizon CC, they don't prorate your service. If you download, then cancel it 5 minutes later, you still owe the $9.99!

This makes sense cause otherwise people would just download the app whenever they need it then delete it and thus bypassing the the $3 per day or $10 per month...

Hey guys I joined the forum just to address that with the new version of VZ Nav, the 271974.mif file is missing in the brew, so I can't complete the hack. It ends up just acting like it doesn't exist. Does anyone have that file along with the folder with all the original VZ Nav stuff in it so we can upload it to the DARE? Please PM me if you do! Anyone else getting the "nag" message from Navigator that a "new version" is available and prompting to "upgrade" ??? I received the message twice so far (I don't use NAV that much however) and each time DECLINE since it will likely hose over the hack. Anyone actually allow the upgrade to occur and still have no charges?? or is there a step by step version that applies to the new version????? Thanks
