A CDMA phone generally will only work for the provider whose firmware it was in it. Even within the US a Verizon phone, does nork on Sprint etc.

There is no such thing as unbranded or unlocked as in GSM, so as far as I know a CDMA phone from the US will not work in India's CDMA network.

    Hope this helps.

Yes definitely it can work in India (Specially Reliance, Tata networks )

To my knowledge, if you get a CDMA phone, you cannot unlock it, or put it on another CDMA provider.

    Hi,

I need to know that if I get a CDMA phone from USA, will that work in the CDMA network in INDIA say, in Reliance network?

    Thanks in advance.
