It's the cable problem definitely, buy another cable.

It is NOT a charger problem, not a battery problem nor will resetting it solve the problem. It sounds as if a bit of moisture, whether water or some other form of liquid, has come in contact with the circuit board I have seen this problem in quite a few samsung phones here in Jamaica, and it always turns out to be moisture on the board, especially in the charging circuit area. 98% of the times, it cannot be fixed cause it's already gone bad already

Can anyone help me? I am temporarily using a t519 until my new G1 comes.. but I have this problem. Each time I turn on my phone, it says its charging. I'm not plugged into the charger either! The battery meter in the corner even continues to load the three little bars as it was charging. Also, since it thinks it is charging, the screen NEVER shuts off. This gets a little annoying. I've done a global reset, and that didn't fix the problem. Anyone know what I can do?

Oh, and I've tried switching out the battery and using a different one, but I still have the same problem.
