Most of their phones do not, but some of their world phones do; granted, they are meant for international use only. That said, an unlocked Blackberry Storm can be used on AT&T's network, though it will be limited to 2G/EDGE data.

Ditto. I have only had good experiences with Verizon customer service reps. If they don't know the answer to your question, they will politely ask you to wait on hold and they will find out for you! What a novel idea!

I have been told by AT&T customer service that I could bring the phone in and they would help...they did not, was told because Verizon phone has no sims the phone would not work on my AT& T network. Called again and was told I could use an ISB cord and download to computer and then to other phone...am computer stupid, but can't seem to get the isb cords. Am I wasting my time here...I just think a phone should work longer than under two years if not treated badly. I just want to save some money until I can afford to buy blackberry or such phone. Any advice would be great...my the phone gods shine on you who help!!!!

You're basically, like you said, wasting your time.

Verizon Wireless uses a strict CDMA (NO SIM CARD) system, except in Global phone circumstances.

AT&T doesn't use any phones that do not use a SIM Card. There is no way to upload user information to the phone and get it activated if it is CDMA...it simply isn't possible.

I personally would switch since the AT&T customer service reps aren't familiar with their own technology and the fact they can't use a Verizon Wireless phone.
