How far along (months) are you into your contract, and how long of a contract was it ?

    Logical
It has been a year and a half since I got my cheap cell phone from Bell.
Now I want to upgrade to a BlackBerry. In extensive discussions with Bell I have been told I am not eligible for any credits on these phones.

A new customer gets a $200 credit on a phone when they sign up and I have already used that. A new customer also gets a $200 credit when they sign up for a data plan. That is how they can give $400 off a Blackberry. In asking why I am not entitled to the second credit I was told it is only available to people who already have a credit on their account.

I think it is disgusting that Bell will offer additional discounts to new customers but not to existing customers.

Other than cancel my contract does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can save some money and not have to pay full price for a BlackBerry?
