    No they are too busy begging Uncle Sam for stimulus money to use 3G as a "rural broadband" option.... they are only wanting to upgrade to EVDO Rev. 0..... not the smartest play ever.....

    But for a carrier who keeps their data at 56kbps for no major reason what else would you expect?

    US Cellular is a CDMA carrier, while the iPhone is a GSM/HSDPA device. It's completely incompatible with US Cellular's network. It will work only on AT&T, T-Mobile, and other GSM carriers. Sorry.

    Hi I have contract w US cellular .Planning to purchase Iphone .Can I use it on US cellular account ? Do i need to unlock Iphone ? (I believe both UScellular and I phone are GSM )
