Ive had my phone number like 8 years. Now i'm with boost and I have freinds and family angry at me because i never answer my phone....... BOOST SUUUUUUUIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS. IHATE BOOST MOBILE.. BOOST IS FOR 16 YO IDIOTS WHO WAIT BEHIND THEIR ANSWER BUTTON FOR THEIR BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS (WHO IS BREAKING UP WITH THEM) CALL . Maybe i need to wear my phone like a neckless or get one of those retractable key chains to attach my phone. But even if i did it wouldn't matter because i am always doing something and if i need to put something down before i answer then its already too late.

How many phones do I NEED!!!!! Damn just give me a phone that is a phone not a walkie-talkie, not a camera, not a web browser just a reliable phone that lets me text, has voice mail, inbox, sent items, lets me choose vibrate or number or rings and speaker oh yes and the correct time... I would buy one if they offered it with only these applications and it was made by Mattel.. better them then mOTOROLA....

Boost Mobile Customer care lies consistantly. they've lied to me every time i called them and treat me as if i'm stupid. i guess that sums up the demigraphic they're catering too .. young stupid kids just happpy to have a cell phone .. running 4 their phones when they ring cause girlfreind is gonna break up with him. just one question booost. why don't you just satisfy one or two customers who care instead of stringing us all along.... we'll only raise a fuss i called customer care today . complaining again. They switched me to a 'tech rep' named Latoya. Whom said i was getting 3 rings and she told me i could get 4 rings max and that she gave me the extra ring. I also asked to have voicemail off and she said she did that too. This is the third time i called them to turn off my voicemail and i was lied to about voicemail beig turned offf. when I checked my phone nothing was changed(thereefore Latoya did nothing technical and is in fact not a Technical rep. nor do i think BoostMobile has any technical power on the iden/Nextel/Sprint system...Lets face it Boost Mobile customers are second rate citezens on the nextel network. STOP LYING TO ME BOOST.

I just got a Droid and have experienced this problem with it and the Omnia I had previously. There were no settings on the phone, and I contacted Verizon to see if they could set it through the network. They said they could and tried. After they couldn't change it, they asked what state I lived in (California). They told me that it was a state regulation, and that it could not be changed. If this is true, it is total BS. I called my state representative and told them this was unacceptable. They hadn't heard of it before, but said it was possible and would look into it. I guess I am not responsible enough to set the number of rings.

Like I said, I've called, and they can't do anything about it. Just have to check voice messages all the time. I think they do this for the people on the pay as you go plan, so they have to use more minutes calling their voice mail again and again. Sneaky bastards. I checked my bros phone with att, and it's about 30 to 32 seconds before going to voice mail. Mine is about 12 to 15 seconds, so half. It rings 4 times compared to my bros 7 or 8 rings before voice mail. Stupid.

BayAreaBooster. How many seconds does your phone ring before going to voicemail? Mine only rings for 10-12 seconds then voicmail kicks in. i cannot answer the phone that fast and despise having to check all the voicmails that I recieve because I was too late for the phone maybe its New york or east coast problem? Iv'e found a few other post complaining about the same problem.
I need resolution if I am to stay with Boost unlimited 50....

Boost wil not change there number of rings before voicmail picks up i cannot answer my phone that quickly. I asked the to turn off voicemail so i don't have to check a million messages a day because i cant answer the phone in time, and they wouldn't do that either I'm going crazy this needs to be addressed by boost.

I've been on the phone with boost for over an hour today, and talked to three different people. None of them helped, until I flat out asked if I can get my phone to ring more than three times, and the lady said NO. It's the network. There's nothing I or they can do. For some reason, the idot tech told me to do the same thing the guy that replied to me above said to do.

Why in the hell is this even an option on a phone? Answer after 1 2 3 or 4 rings automatically without going to voicemail????? So say I'm not around my cell phone while I'm at home, and it just answers anyways, so the person calling can just say hello three or four times, and then hang up since I'm not around? Who thought of this?????lol.

I've timed it, and I have about 12 seconds to answer my phone, v.s. other peoples phones that ring 5 times, and have 27 seconds to answer before going to voicemail. To me, this is a way to get people like me that pay 10 cents a minute to miss a call, and pay another 10 cents to call my voicemail, and then another 10 cents to call the person back. ****ing clever.

How does one change how many times your phone rings until it goes to voicemail? I have the i776, and it only rings twice, and then goes to voicemail. That is too quick for me to pull out of my pocket sometimes, and answer it. WTF? Is this something I can change here, or do I have to call someone, or is that just how it is? If that's just how it is, then it's a deal breaker for me, since It charges me 10 cents to ring, and then 10 more to check the damned voicemail because I didn't have fast hands that day. Thank you.
