Im having some issues with Rogers BIS Calendar syncing.

Changing on Google Calendar works fine to update BlackBerry but sometimes, updating the item on my BlackBerry doesnt sync to Google Calendar. Its a hit and miss.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

On December 14, 2012, Google stopped supporting Google Calendar Sync and terminated the download link. On January 30, 2013, users will not be able to set up Google Calendar Sync unless they pay for the Google Apps service ($50 per year). The link to Google's announcement is located here (sorry, I have not made enough posts yet to be able to include a hot link so you have to cut and paste into your browser):

Syncdroid.net has a list of all software available to sync Androids with the Outlook Calendar along with a review of each product, so you can still find solutions - both paid and free.

    This is great, thanks.

How about syncing contacts between outlook and gmail/droid?
This is for personal contacts not exchange. I keep everything in one place.

I apologize in advance for seeming a bit dense, but will syncing my Outlook calendar (which is on our Exchange Server) allow me to then get sync for my exchange email on the Droid2? I was using a Samsung SCH-i760 until last week, and although it was a quirky phone (Windows Mobile OS) I was able to sync calendar and email. Verizon has dropped Verizon Wireless Sync as of 12/31/2010 and I happened to get a new a few days before that. I've tried setting up an account in Corporate Sync in the Droid OS with no success. Also tried the Touchdown app unsuccessfully. I spent 20 or 30 minutes today with Tier II Verizon support and they were scratching their heads as well.

There's an error log of sorts that does appear but all it tells us is what attempts were made that failed. Have tried with and without domain name (Verizon's suggestion was to leave the field blank, with and without SSL enabled, with and without certificate variation, and every possible permutation of the prior variables. I have now gotten the Google calendar sync to work with my Outlook Exchange calendar, but don't know what to do next

Just got my Droid X today. How can I sync my Outlook (calendar, contacts, tasks)??? This post seems simple for the "calendar" ... hopefully someone knows a simple solution for syncing it all!

Larry79, I'm sorry you are having problems. For chart that has al list of most software that syncs between Outlook and a Droid, please visit www.syncdroid.net. You just want to sync calendar, but they list what the software will sync (calendar, contacts, notes, tasks, email), whether it uses USB or wireless, price (many free) and more. They also have an overview of each software title to help you decide on the calendar sync software you want.

I'm sure this is a wonderful app. Unfortunately, it doesn't support Outlook 2010. Any suggestions for an app that will sync with Outlook 2010? All I need to sync in my calendar.

Followed instructions all worked well and everything appears to have synced to gmail and my phone, however the only problem I see is that all my comtacts in the Droid appear first name first, rather than last name first as shown in my Outlook contact folder. Is there a way to set the phone to show "Last Name" first?

By the way GREAT forum. I was reading all about the Droid on the forum prior to purchasing so by the time I actually received (Tuesday) I knew how to do so much already. Again, Great forum!!

It synced with my Outlook calendar just fine, without going through a bunch of hoosie fudge to merge my Outlook and Google calendars.
As a small business owner, I don't use Exchange. I have read through some of the forums and haven't found any good solutions for syncing Outlook and the Droid directly...however, many of the posts were older. Any chance that this issue has been resolved with an app by now???

I found that by not using the Google Calendar Sync, I am now able to use multiple Google Calendars. I then just use the corporate calendar on the Droid to sync directly with my Exchange account for work. This keeps things separate. Plus - who really wants to be worrying about work when you are off the job anyways.

I have everything setup the same as mentioned above, but I have an odd error that keeps happening. When I create an event on my Droid, it will sync up with Google Calendar and Outlook just fine; but it creates an invitation event with me as an attendee. The event also shows up as tentative only in Outlook and I am unable to edit it.

Contrast - if i create an event in either Outlook or Gmail it will sync fine with my Droid and all 3 units (droid, outlook and gmail) will have the same calendar event which isnt an invitation. It seems as though when i create an event on my Droid it creates a meeting invitation instead of an event/appointment

Is any one else having this problem?

    Thanks!
