Just got my Droid and had the same question! You may have the answer, but new Droid users may need this.

    Yahoo calendar on the Droid:
    1: Select browser on Droid
2: Type yahoo.com and sign in
    3: Select tab "All Sites"
4: Select Calendar (can go back and select other features the same way)
5: Menu key (My Motorola has a menu key on the outside edge. It has 4 squares. Another model had lines for the menu key. Mine is located by the home, search, and back keys)
    6: Select "bookmark" and save
7: Select home then place finger on screen and hold for menu.
    8: Select Shortcuts
9: Select Bookmark and slide until your bookmark appears.

I have repeated this for websites I look at everyday. There is a shortcut on the main page. Keeps me from going to the browser and typing in the same thing every time.

Okay, here is how I solved the problem after being frustrated that I couldn't sync my Yahoo calendar on my new Droid 2 as well and wasn't willing to create yet a second calendar.

On your Droid, either go to MyYahoo.com and log in or go to MyYahoo from the Yahoo mail page.

Over in the right-hand section is a section called personal assistant, or there is on the version I have designed. Mine consists of several buttons. I simply changed one of them to Calendar.

Click on Calendar, it opens, Bookmark it, then simply add that Bookmark to, in my case, the appropriate "page" on your Droid.

Be sure and do all this through the browser on your Droid.

I'll have to admit, it was amazingly simple and I did do a little toe dance to celebrate.

You can. You have to turn off WiFi first, be on 3G, then do this:

enter your email address: name"at"yahoo.com (whole thing)
    password: whatever
    Choose "Manual Setup" (NOT NEXT)
    Choose IMAP
Enter full user name with "at" symbol
    Enter your password
    For IMAP server: imap(dot)mail(dot)yahoo(dot)com
    leave port as is
    Leave security type as none

    For outgoing server: smtp(dot)mail(dot)yahoo(dot)com

Use actual dots for the server addresses, and use a real "at" symbol. I can't use them because I have to have 20 posts or more to enter html and email addresses

That's it. I'm pretty sure it only checks when you're on 3G. You're on 3G while your screen is off. The system automatically disables WiFi when sleeping.

I don't believe you can do this, but there is better yahoo mail support in 2.1. You might want to try it out.

Has anyone had success setting up Yahoo Calendar to sync to Droid? The "solutions" I've found through Google searches doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance!
