    Vodafone Australia customers can now take advantage of the new, Android 2.3 Gingerbread update that is about to happen for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The update is now available and it will bring Gingerbread updates as well as extras from Sony Ericsson, a music player with an equalizer, photo widget, Wi-Fi hotspot functionality and USB tethering.

    The update will require you to have a computer to download the update as well as installing, therefore, it will not take place over the air. You will need to already have or download the Sony Ericsson PC Companion software
