    tavenger5 is right, you need to have it unlocked first before you can use it with any other carriers.

    You'll have to get the SGH-T401G unlocked, then you should be able to use it on Straight talk.

    I actually have to of the Samsung SGH T401G, One is tracfone and one is straight talk. I primarily stick with straight talk because of there good plan, but I wanted to change the tracfone to straight talk so I have a back-up incase mine breaks and my fiance has a phone for now.

    Is it possible? Any ideas or advice.
    I'm not completely stupid towards phones I just can't find any material on this subject.
