    I reeally cant see why not as long as it has a clean ESN (electronic serial number that doesnt have a current contract with any carrier. I am contemplating the same questions. Still looking for an honest answer so hold off buying until we get a clear answer to you question.

    I really want to get a Motorola Quantico for my boyfriend who uses Metro PCS, but Metro doesn't have them any more.
    I was looking for it on eBay, but for all the new ones it says that they are for Alltel.
    If I get one from Alltel or US Cellular, will I be able to switch it to Metro?
    Or as another option, if I get one from a Motorola store, will it work with Metro (the provider is not specified in description)?
