    How-To: Enable Bluetooth Connectivity on Your HTC One X.

    1. Open the Notification panel on the Home screen.
    2. Tap the "Bluetooth On/Off" switch in order to enable Bluetooth connectivity.


    How-To: Rename Your Device.

    1. Open the Notification panel on the Home screen.
    2. Tap the "Settings" icon depicted as a gear.
    3. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
    4. Tap "Bluetooth".
    5. On the Bluetooth screen press the "Menu" icon.
    6. Select "Rename phone"
    7. Type-in the desired name for your HTC One X and press "Rename".


    How-To: Connect a Bluetooth Headset or Car Kit.

    1. Open the Notification panel and select "Settings".
    2. Tap "Bluetooth" assuming Bluetooth is enabled.
    3. On the Bluetooth screen press the "Menu" icon.
    4. Tap "Search for devices". A list of available Bluetooth devices should appear.
    5. Tap the name of the device you wish to connect to your phone.
    6. Your HTC One X will attempt to automatically pair with the headset. Type-in the device's passcode if necessary.


    How-To: Send Information Using Bluetooth.

    • If you wish to send a contact's details via Bluetooth: Access the "People" app > tap the contact you wish to send > press the "Menu" icon > tap "Send contact" > Tap the icon depicting an arrow pointing down > Tap "Bluetooth".


    • If you wish to send a Calendar appointment or event: Whilst in the Day, Agenda or Week view, tap and hold the event you wish to send > press "Forward" > Tap "Bluetooth".


    • To send photos or videos: Access the "Gallery" app > choose the album containing the desired files> Press "Share" > Select "Bluetooth".


    • To send a photo or video immediately after capturing it: After capturing, tap the "Share" icon found on the "Camera Preview" screen > select "Bluetooth".


    • If you wish to send a music track: Whilst the desired track is displayed on the Music app's "Now Playing" screen, press the icon "Menu" icon > Tap "Share" > select "Share file" > tap "Bluetooth".


    • To share a web page: Tap the "Menu" icon while viewing the page you wish to share > select "Share page" > tap "Bluetooth". To share the page while in the reading mode tap the "Share" icon and select "Bluetooth".



    Once you have selected to share the needed information:

    1. Enable Bluetooth and pair with the receiving device if prompted to do so.
    2. The receiving device must confirm for the transfer to commence.


    How-To: Receive Information via Bluetooth.

    1. Open the Notification panel and tap "Settings".
    2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
    3. Tap "Bluetooth" to access the Bluetooth main screen.
    4. Make your HTC One X visible to other Bluetooth devices by tapping the name of your device at the top of the screen.
    5. After the sending device will start sharing information, accept the pairing request if prompted to do so. If needed type-in the necessary passcode. Tap "Pair"
    6. After a file transfer notification has been received, open the Notification panel > tap the incoming file notification > press "Accept".
    7. Once the file transfer is complete, a notification will be displayed in the Notification panel.
