Also this new phone has a music player but I don't know how to get music on it ? I think that the problem is that the service provider I use (Speak-Out) doesn't have downloadable apps ( games, music ) like Telus does . With Telus I could buy these things and it went straight into the phone via the cell phone service.

This phone also does not have a camera button on the side of the case like the Samsung phone has. Actually the Samsung C414 is a good phone except for the fact that it needs to be recharged constantly. It would also have been nice if they could have preloaded the phone (LG A341) with a few games

I was complaining a while back how quickly the battery depleted in my Samsung C414 , well I don't have a problem any longer. I bought a LG A341 phone and the battery in this phone depletes very slowly.

That's not too bad. I've used phones that last longer, but five days isn't really that bad.

The battery suddenly just went dead again yesterday. So now I know that it is not the battery and it must be the phone itself . I am off to the store to get the phone sent back to Samsung for repair.

The SIM card would be placed in any new phone but with this phone ( Samsung C414 ) pictures and games, cannot be transferred to another phone.
I'm glad they're at least giving you a loaner phone. There are some stores (such as authorized dealers for some providers) that wouldn't even do that.

The warranty is a manufacturer warranty only. If I buy a new phone then not only would I lose the purchase price but games, pictures etc.that are downloaded into the phone. Maybe other people who experienced the same problem and replaced the battery could tell me whether this solved the problem or not ?
