    the rice trick should work, but you might need to leave it there for another day or two. the rice will absorb the moisture from the phone. if that doesnt work, i've also heard some people put their water damaged phone into the freezer with good results. though you might want to do some research on that.

    Hi. i've accidentally dropped my phone, Sony Erricson ELM into a toilet today at school, i quickly got it out and wrapped it in my jumper, it was still working then so i thought it was fine after wrapping it, then it just had a plain blank white screen, so i took the battery out and tried to turn it back on, i didn't, so now at school i've had it drying the water out of in the sun, but it still doesn't work, it's now in a sealy bag of rice, just the phone, (not the sim card or battery). CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, I LIKE THIS PHONE AND DON'T WANT ANOTHER ONE
