I have a 8 GB micro sd memory card and I had this in my mobile phone (Samsung Tocco) for over a year and it was absolutely fine, I saved all my things on it and I never had any problems.

Then one day I went to go on the 'My Files' menu on my phone and it just said ''Memory card has an unrecognized format, Reformatting will erase all data, Reformat now?'' And a yes or no option.. I cant delete everything off there, I have so many pictures, videos and songs on there that are special to me and I don't have them saved on anything else. So I pressed no and the message went away but it was as if the memory card wasnt in the phone after that.

I have tried putting the card in an adapter and putting it into my computer but the computer just isn't recognizing that its there either.
I just really want my stuff back, its like a years worth of memories just gone in an instant

If you go to the repair store, no one may help you. It is not recognized by both your phone and computer, so the memory card had problem. I don't think outsiders' methods are relevant here.
