They say "BRING AN AT&T OR T-MOBILE COMPATIBLE GSM PHONE, OR AN UNLOCKED GSM PHONE"

I would think Straight Talk's customer service could give you a definitive answer. Also, they could tell you of any additional fees you may have to pay to activate a non Straight Talk phone. Good luck!

Yes, that would be the phone; except I would go with the 16GB version.

I am aware that I will have to pay full price, over the course of two years it still comes out to less if I choose a pay as you go plan.

So you believe I will be able to activate it on a Straight Talk plan? Is there a way I can get a definitive answer on that before buying? Would Straight Talk support be able to confirm it?

    Thanks!

You're referring to this one, right? Amazon.com: HTC Windows Phone 8X, Blue 8GB (AT&T): Cell Phones & Accessories

I believe you will be able to use it on Straight Talk, but keep in mind that you'll have to buy the phone outright (which is $450 atm) if you don't want to sign an AT&T contract.

I would like to buy this phone with no contract: HTC Windows Phone 8X, Blue 16GB (AT&T) (I cannot post links because I just signed up, but if you search for that on Amazon it will come up)

It states that it is for AT&T, but I would like to use it on a Straight Talk pay-as-you-go plan instead of AT&T directly. Both will be using the GSM network, but will that phone be totally locked to AT&T? Will I be able to activate it with Straight Talk?
