You can sync calendars, contacts and other information from various social networks, online services and email accounts. Depending on the type of account you add, you will be able to sync updates between the handset and the web.

Adding an Account:

1. Access the "Settings" menu either through the apps drawer or the notification panel
2. Tap "Accounts & sync" and press the "+" icon
3. Select the account type that you wish to add
4. Enter your account information and follow the on-screen instructions

Note: to turn automatic sync on or off for all of your accounts, you can go to "Settings" > "Account & sync" and tap the "On/Off" switch associated with Auto sync

Adding One or Multiple Google Accounts:

1. Access the "Settings" menu as before
2. Tap "Accounts & sync"
3. Tap the "+" button and select "Google"
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account, or sign in with an existing one

Syncing Your Accounts:

1. Open the Notifications panel / apps drawer and go to "Settings"
2. Tap "Accounts & sync". Here you can perform one of the following:

• Tap the "On/Off" switch associated with "Auto sync" to enable syncing for all accounts
• To sync accounts individually, select the desired account type, tap the account and then press the "menu" button (three vertical dots) on the "Account settings" screen and tap "Sync now"

Removing an Account:

1. Access the "Settings" menu
2. Tap "Accounts & sync"
3. Select an account type. Assuming that multiple accounts are supported, select the account that you wish to remove
4. Tap the "menu" icon depicted as three vertical dots, and press "Remove"

Note: removing an account on your smartphone does not result in the deletion of information from the online service itself.
