    Scribble is a new application in the Sense 5.5 user interface by HTC, and appropriately enough, the app is present on the HTC One max. Scribble allows the user to create pages for their digital scrapbooks, to create interesting photos and share them on social networks or blogs, to add HTC Zoe photos and animated gif. Files and more. The application also allows you to create digital greeting cards, or create lists for tracking a budget or more. The application also offers capacitive stylus pen support (sold separately).

    Composing a Note With Scribble:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Open the "Scribble" app
    3. Tap "+" to select a template
    4. Type a note title in the "Title text here" area
    5. Use the editing tools to enter text, draw or right figures, record audio, change the pen characteristics etc.
    6. To undo or redo an action, tap the icons depicting an arrow pointing left or right respectively
    7. For more options such as changing a template, linking the note to an event and more, press the "Menu" icon depicting three vertical dots
    8. To save the note, press the "Back" capacitive button

    Inserting Images in a Note:

    You can insert web page thumbnails, photos, HTC Zoe photos and more into your Scribble notes, you can:

    1. Open a new note in Scribble
    2. To add a photo, press the camera icon, select a frame and then press the shutter button. To customize the frame, press the icon depicting a dotted shape, and then trace the frame
    3. To insert an image, press "Menu" > "Insert" > browse for the desired image and select it
    4. To insert a web page thumbnail, tap "Menu" > "Web content" and then go to the web page that you wish to import, using the "Internet" app. Press "Menu" > "Share" > "Scribble"
    5. Tap and hold an element to resize, move or delete it. To rotate an element, use two fingers

    Inserting Stickers and Illustrations in a Note:

    1. Open the Scribble app and create a new note
    2. Tap the icon depicting a painting palette, and select a pen stroke, color, and the thickness. (NOTE: you can encircle or highlight important parts, or draw figures
    3. Tap the icon depicting a pencil next to an "A", and select a color and thickness, then draw figures or write text. NOTE: the drawing has the same size as the surrounding text, and is inserted at the cursor
    4. To add a sticker, tap the "smiley face" icon
    5. To move, resize or delete a sticker or a drawing, tap and hold it. You can rotate it using two fingers

    Creating a Note for a Photo Blog:

    You can group photos in a note and share it on your blog or social network. To do so:

    1. Open the Scribble application
    2. Press the "+" button and select a photo blog template
    3. Tap the icon depicting a camera within a rectangle, and capture a photo. Alternatively, select photos in the Gallery and group them in a collage
    4. When inserting a collage, press and hold it and then choose a layout. You can also:
      • Press and hold to drag a photo within the frame and put the subject in the center of the frame
      • Press and hold to drag a photo over another to rearrange them
      • Tap another layout to change the current one
      • Using two fingers, make a spread or pinch gesture to zoom in our out of the photo
    5. Use the editing tools by tapping the area above the date, and insert text and illustrations
    6. Tap the "+" icon located at the left to add a new page
    7. Press the "Back" button to save the note

    Grouping Notes Into a Notebook:

    1. In the Scribble app, tap "Menu" > "Group"
    2. Select the notes that you wish to form a group with, and tap "Group" > "OK"
    3. Enter a name for the notebook, and tap "OK"

    NOTE: to group notes into an existing notebook, tap "Menu" > "Move to", then select the desired notes and select a notebook

    Sharing a Note:

    1. Open the desired note and then tap the "Share" icon depicting two arrows and a dot
    2. Select the desired method of sharing:
      • Attachment: attach a note to an email. The recipient needs to have Scribble installed
      • Hyperlink: Save the note using Google Drive and send a link. The recipient can view the note using a web browser
      • Image: Save the note as a JPG file. Share it via email or social network. NOTE: if the note includes an animated gif, only the first frame will be shared
      • Plain Text: you can extract the text within a note and edit it, then share it
